Rick Alexander

Director of Finance

Rick Alexander is the Director of Finance at Thrive By 5 Louisville, overseeing budgeting, grant management, compliance, and the financial systems that help the organization deliver on its mission. He partners with leadership and the Board to ensure resources are stewarded responsibly so more children and families can benefit from strong early learning opportunities.

Rick brings decades of finance and operations leadership across corporate, entrepreneurial, and nonprofit settings. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Wellspring, Inc., and held senior executive roles with Armor KONE Elevator. Rick earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Louisville and completed executive leadership training through KONE Corporation.
